पाँच में चुनावी धूमगज्जर जारी है. चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान प्रत्याशियों व पार्टियों द्वारा मतलोलुपता में जाने-अनजाने किए जा रहे हास-परिहास एवं प्रहसन की खबरों से मतदाताओ का ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे देश का मनोरंजन हो रहा है. लालबत्ती माननीय बनकर कंचन चरने के लिए कैसे कैसे पापड़ बेलने पड़ते हैं. उम्मीदवार मतदाताओं की रोटियां बेल रहे हैं, अपनी रोटी सेंक रहे हैं. यदि गृहिणी मतदाता बर्तन मांजते हुए मिल जाए तो प्रत्याशी ने स्वयं ही बर्तन धो-पोंछकर चूल्हा-चौका तक कर देते हैं. खबर है कि इन राज्यों में ग्रामीणों ने सुबह सवेरे अपना दुआर बुहारना बंद कर दिया है. वे दुआर पर बैठकर झाड़ू छाप प्रत्याशी की राह देखते हैं कि वे आएं और कुछ कर गुजरें. कहना ही होगा कि लोकतंत्र में ५ साल यदि माननीयों की मौज के हैं तो १-२ महीने मतदाताओं के मस्त, मृदुल एवं मनोहारी मनुहार के भी.
एक उम्मीदवार आशीर्वाद के लिए किसी मतदाता के चरणों में ही लोट गये और आशीर्वाद न मिलने तक चरणदास बने रहने की धमकी देने लगे. अचंभित मतदाता ने पैर खींचकर गिराए जाने के डर से ही सही पर उन्हे आशीर्वाद दे दिया. हालांकि मतदाता के पास यह आशीर्वाद मतदान करते समय रिवोक कर लेने की लग्जरी तो है ही. अतिवाद पर लात धरते हुए एक मंत्री जी ने तो मतदाताओं को घुड़की दी; “मुझे नहीं जिताया तो मैं आत्महत्या कर लूँगा”. वहाँ मतदाता धर्मसंकट में हैं कि इन्हे नहीं जिताया तो ये कुछ कर बैठेंगे और इन्हे जिता दिया तो हारे हुए प्रत्याशियों के कुछ नहीं कर गुजरने की गारंटी नहीं है. मतदाता ऐसी दुविधा से निबटे या लोकतंत्र के अपने वोटरोचित कर्तव्यों अर्थात कुछ टानने पर फोकस करें.
जनेऊधारी अध्यक्ष जी अपने दो चेलों संग मंदिरों को धन्य कर ही रहे थे कि एक चेले ने दूसरे समुदाय पर रुमाल फेंक दिया; “90 फीसदी वोट करने नहीं निकले तो हम कहीं के नहीं रहेंगे.” कोई इनसे पूछे ये अभी कहाँ के हैं. तीसरे शिष्य फूफा बने घूमते रहे. वोट पक्का करने के क्रम में एक अन्य माननीय ने कुछ नेताओं की जाति बताकर ब्रह्म ज्ञान दिया और यह भी साफ कर दिया कि हिन्दू धर्म पर किस जाति का एकाधिकार है. धर्म और जाति से बात न बनते देखकर अध्यक्ष जी ने अपने गोत्र का रहस्योद्घाटन किया. उनके कौल दत्तात्रेय होने की पुष्टि करने वाले सामने आ गए. गोत्र पर तार्किक सवाल उठाने वाले शास्त्रों से अनभिज्ञ हैं. शास्त्रों में यह लिखना लिपिकीय त्रुटि में छूट गया था कि ननिहाल या ससुराल के गोत्र से खुद को जोड़ने से कृपा आती है, पिता के ननिहाल का गोत्र से संबद्ध होने पर महाकृपा.
बीमारु प्रदेश को स्वस्थ करने का पारिश्रमिक मांगते मामाजी के हास-परिहास का असर तो अमेरिका तक में दिख रहा है जहाँ सड़कें तोड़कर दुबारा बनाया जा रही हैं. छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश में कांग्रेस ने अपने चुनावी टोटरम में दया कार्ड भी खेला; “पन्द्रह साल बाद तो बुला लो.” वहीं भाजपा विकास और नक्सलवाद पर उपलब्धियों के अलावा अकथित रुप से यह भी कहती रही; “चौथी बार जिताओ तो जानें.” राजस्थान में कांग्रेस चुनाव परिणामों के ट्रेंड के भरोसे अधिक है, अध्यक्ष जी व उनके चेलों के भरोसे कम. रानी साहिबा अपनी उपलब्धियों के अलावा मतदाताओं को सीख दे रही हैं; “एक बार हम, एक बार वो, कब तक इस लकीर के फकीर बने रहोगे.” रोने-धोने की परंपरा के तहत बेटिकट हुए नेताओं ने आँसूओं भरे दर्द का वीडियो देखकर लोगों की आँखे छलछला गयीं, पता नहीं कि कौतुक से या करुणा से. टिकट पाए प्रत्याशियों सहित ‘बड़े’ माननीय भी आँसूओं से वोट की फसल सींचते रहे. पता नहीं वोट की फसल वे काटेंगे या कोई और. इन तीन राज्यों के चुनावी डंका के आगे सदूर मिजोरम और तेलांगना के चुनाव तो डुगडुगी ही प्रतीत होते हैं.
मीडिया आजकल वैसे ही हंसोड़ है पर चुनाव विश्लेषण व सर्वेक्षण की तो पूछिए ही मत. सदा की तरह एक सर्वेक्षण इर घाट जा रहा है तो दूसरा वीर घाट. लोकतंत्र के पिच पर वोटों का स्विंग, टर्न और बाउंस जेनरिक शब्दों में सब बता रहे हैं पर साफ-साफ कहकर फंसना नहीं चाहते. “एमपी गुजरात जैसा है.” ‘बहन जी कांग्रेस की राह रोक रही हैं’, ‘सपॉक्स भाजपा की मुसीबत बन रहा है’ और ‘जोगी रमण सिंह के खेवनहार हैं’ जैसे जुमले खूब गढ़ रहे हैं पर रानी साहिबा के लिए सेट पैटर्न से परे न नहीं हटते. फार्म डिस्ट्रेस पर स्ट्रेस लेते पत्रकारों का दुख तो देखा नहीं जाता. वोटर को भोंपू बनाकर अपनी बात कहने का उनका ट्रेंड जारी है. इससे प्रेरित होकर एक सेलेब ट्विटकार ने रिक्शेवाले का मन टटोला तो झिड़क दिए गए; “हमारे रोजी-रोटी का टाइम है और तुमको ट्वीट के मसाले की पड़ी है.”
