इंदिरा की परछाई की राजनीति में हुई एंट्री

प्रियंका गाँधी (यदि वाड्रा कहने में संकोच हो) का राजनीति में पदार्पण पर यह थी एक पोर्टल की ऑनलाइन खबर की टाइटल. प्रियंका गाँधी को कांग्रेस पार्टी का महासचिव बनाते हुए उन्हे ‘पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश’ की कमान सौंपी गयी है. चैनलों के प्रखर संवाददाताओं की भाषा में कहें तो वही पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश जहां योगी का गोरखपुर आता है. यानी 2019 में कांग्रेस ने अपने पत्ते खोल दिये हैं. उधर मोदी अभी भी ‘ब्लाइंड’ खेल रहे हैं. भाजपा का कहना है कि यह तो सिर्फ परिवारवाद के चक्र मे एक और पदार्पण है. इसमें नया क्या है? लेकिन राजनैतिक विश्लेषकों का मानना है कि प्रियंका गांधी का सक्रिय राजनीति में आना कांग्रेस के लिए फायदे का सौदा हो सकता है.

राजनीति में चेहरा और छवि, दोनों ही अपने तरीके से काम करते हैं. इन दोनों ही पैमानों पर राहुल गाँधी की स्थिति किसी से छिपी हुई नहीं है. ‘एकदम इंदिरा की तरह दिखती है’ वाली छवि प्रियंका गाँधी कांग्रेस की ताकत बन सकती है. वैसे यह तर्क गले से नहीं उतरता. किसी बड़ी राजनैतिक विभूति से शक्ल का मिलना क्या उस व्यक्तित्व की क्षमता का प्रमाण हो सकता है? कम से कम व्यवहारिक दुनिया में तो यह सम्भव नहीं है. लेकिन भारत में भावनात्मक जुड़ाव की महत्ता राजनैतिक पार्टियां अच्छे से जानती हैं. अमेठी और रायबरेली सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण हैं. यही कारण है कि कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने प्रियंका को राजनीतिक अखाड़े में उतारने का पूरा इरादा कर लिया था, और आज राहुल गाँधी की भी मंजूरी के बाद यह हो भी गया. 

कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओं के उत्साह की सीमा महाराष्ट्र में कांग्रेस के एक स्थानीय नेता की भाषा से साफ झलक रही थी. ऐसा लग रहा था मानो आज ही इस नव नेत्री को मोदी के सामने खड़ा करवा दो तो चारों खाने चित कर देंगी. वैसे 2017 के चुनावों में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर निशाना साधते हुए प्रियंका ने उनको ‘बाहरी’ कह दिया था. समय का चक्र देखिये कि आज वही प्रियंका उत्तर प्रदेश की लड़ाई में उतर आई है. प्रियंका भी सवालों से परे नहीं हैं. क्या होगा जब रोबर्ट वाड्रा पर सवाल पूछे जाएंगे? क्या होगा जब नेशनल हेराल्ड पर सवाल पूछे जाएंगे? खैर, अभी तो कांग्रेसी खेमा उत्साह से लबरेज़ है. उन्हे इस उत्साह से वंचित भी नहीं किया जाना चाहिए. 

इस उत्साह के बीच राजनैतिक विश्लेषकों के चश्में से देखें तो पता चलेगा कि प्रियंका की सक्रिय राजनीति में एंट्री कांग्रेस की स्वाभिमान की लड़ाई है. उत्तर प्रदेश में बुआ-भतीजे ने पहले ही दूर से प्रणाम कर दिया है. बिहार में भी लालू पुत्र तेजस्वी देश की सबसे पुरानी पार्टी को ‘बड़ा दिल’ दिखाने की नसीहत दे रहे है. 120 लोकसभा सीटों पर तो ऐसे ही खेल खराब दिखता है. उधर गठबंधन की राजनीति की बदौलत जैसे तैसे जिन दो राज्यों में सरकार बनाई है, उस पर पहले ही कैलाश विजयवर्गीय जैसे नेता बॉर्डर पर कैच लपकने वाली मुद्रा में है. कोई विधायक कमज़ोर हुए तो सरकार गिरी. बेबस दिखती कांग्रेस के तरकश में एक ही तीर था जिसका नाम था प्रियंका गांधी. वो आज चला दिया गया है. परंतु उत्तर प्रदेश की राजनीति में प्रियंका गांधी कितनी प्रासंगिक होंगी? और यह तीर भी नहीं चला तो? 

सपा-बसपा की 25 साल पुरानी लड़ाई की कहनियाँ आज भी उत्तर प्रदेश की गलियों में बड़े-बुजुर्ग सुना देंगे. जैसे-तैसे गठबंधन की ज़मीन पर उतरी ये दोनों क्षेत्रीय पार्टियाँ अब अपनी ज़मीन किसी दूसरी पार्टी के लिए तो छोड़ने से रहीं, वो भी तब जब लड़ाई अस्तित्व की हो. कागजों पर वोटबैंक को देखें तो एक बड़ा वोटबैंक इस महागठबन्धन की तरफ है. दूसरी तरफ भाजपा पिछले ही लोकसभा चुनावों में 73 सीटें ला चुकी है, और 2017 के प्रचंड बहुमत ने तो सपा-बसपा गठबंधन की नींव रख दी है. साथ में मोदी का ब्रैंड तो है ही. अब बचे हुए किले अमेठी और रायबरेली ही थे. अमेठी में भी स्मृति ईरानी का बढ़ता कद देख कर वहां के स्थानीय कार्यकर्ताओं को मशक्कत करनी पड़ रही है.

स्थिति ये है कि स्मृति ईरानी के हर दौरे के बाद राहुल जी को भी वहां भ्रमण को निकलना पड़ रहा है. इन सबके बीच कांग्रेस का किरदार वोट कटवा पार्टी का ही दिखाई दे रहा है.

संभवतः यह निर्णय भाजपा के ही वोटबैंक पर असर डालने के लिए लिया गया है. सवर्णों की कथित नाराजगी भुनाने का इससे बेहतर विकल्प कांग्रेस के पास था नहीं. कांग्रेस प्रियंका गांधी के बूते उसी वोटबैंक को पाने की मशक्कत करती प्रतीत हो रही है. ऐसा भी मानने वाले हैं कि जानबूझकर प्रियंका गाँधी को उत्तर प्रदेश की मुश्किल पिच पर उतारा गया ताकि राहुल गाँधी की प्रासंगिकता बनी रहे. वैसे ये फार्मूला अमेठी में 2014 के चुनावों में आम आदमी पार्टी द्वारा कुमार विश्वास पर टेस्ट किया जा चुका है. उसके बाद कुमार विश्वास कहाँ हैं, यह सब जानते हैं. वैसे इस कठिन पिच पर प्रियंका गाँधी कुछ अच्छे शॉट्स लगा सकती है. रोबर्ट ‘वाड्रा’ से विवाह होने के पश्चात भी प्रियंका ‘गाँधी’ बने रहने की तकनीक उनसे बेहतर कोई नहीं जानता है. 

इसी बीच कई क्रांतिकारी चैनलों के पत्रकार उर्फ स्वयंभू राजनैतिक विश्लेषकों को भी भाव-विभोर होते हुए देखा गया. उनके शब्दों के पीछे से छलकता हुआ ‘एजेंडा’ साफ दिखाई दे रहा था. इनमें से अधिकतर वो थे जिनको यह जानने में दिलचस्पी रहती है कि गाँधी परिवार के किचन में क्या पकता है. उनके अनुसार शायद देश की एक बड़ी समस्या गांधी परिवार के पकवान भी हैं. खैर, तथाकथित निष्पक्ष पत्रकारों का एक रंग ये भी है.

कुल मिलाकर खेल दिलचस्प मोड़ पर पहुँच चुका है. देखना बस ये है कि इस नई एंट्री से उत्तर प्रदेश की राजनीति किस करवट बैठती है. ध्यान रखिएगा, यह उत्तर प्रदेश है. यहाँ कुछ भी हो सकता है.
