तिरंगा यात्रा से दिक्कत क्यों?

देश में तिरंगा यात्राओं पर फिर बड़ी बहस छिड़ी हुई है. विडंबना देखिये कि जिस तिरंगे के मान की रक्षा के लिए देश का जवान सीमा पर प्राण न्योछावर कर देता है, उसी तिरंगा यात्रा पर ‘इंटेलेक्चुअल’ जमात तर्क-वितर्क कर रहा है. सवाल है कि क्या अब देश के विश्वविद्यालयों के अंदर तिरंगा यात्रा निकालने के लिए प्रश्न उठाये जाएंगे. विद्या का मंदिर जिस प्रकार से राजनैतिक अखाड़ा बन गया है, वो दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है. 

अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के प्रॉक्टर ने तिरंगा यात्रा और भारत माता की जय को आपत्तिजनक बताया है. समझ में ये नहीं आता कि इस बात पर अपना सिर फोड़ें या उनका. देश की अस्मिता से जुड़े हुए नारों को ले कर कैसे आपत्ति उठायी जा सकती है? वो भी देश के शिक्षण संस्थाओं के अंदर. कुछ नेताओं द्वारा इसको एक धर्म की भावनाएं आहत करने वाले नारे बताये जा रहे हैं. कहा जा रहा है कि तिरंगा यात्रा उनकी भावनाएं भड़का देगा. भला ऐसी कौन सी भावनाएं हैं जो तिरंगा यात्रा और भारत माता की जय से भड़क जा रही हैं. और यदि ऐसी भावनाएं भड़कती हैं इनको भड़कना की फिक्र क्यों करना. इन्हीं भावनाओं ने भारत माता के आँचल के दो टुकड़े 1947 में करवा दिए थे. ज़मीन मिल गयी मगर विचार नहीं गए. जिन्ना पूजकों में यह सोच आज भी जीवित है. 

JNU के देशविरोधी नारे अभिव्यक्ति की आज़ादी बन गयी. तिरंगा यात्रा और भारत माता की जय साम्प्रदायिक बना दिये गए, और देश का एक बड़ा वर्ग अभी भी गहरी नींद में सोया हुआ है. देश में शिक्षण संस्थाओं के ज्ञानियों के अंदर ये अज्ञानता देश की भावी पीढ़ी को भी बर्बाद करने की तरफ ले जा रही है. वैसे अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी में जिन्ना की तस्वीर अभी भी लगी हुई है. बुद्धिजीवियों की बुद्धि कहती है कि तस्वीर से क्या फर्क पड़ता है. जब फर्क नहीं पड़ता तो हटाने में दिक्कत क्या हो रही है? 

दरअसल सहिष्णुता और असिहष्णुता की बहस के बीच संवैधानिक कर्तव्यों से ध्यान हटाया जा रहा है. ‘फ्रीडम ऑफ एक्सप्रेशन’ के बैनर के नीचे एक ऐसी जमात खड़ी की जा रही है जिसको देश की सभी समस्याओ का तो पता है, लेकिन समाधान पूछो तो नारों के अलावा उनके पास देने के लिए कुछ नहीं होता है. शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं के अंदर इन राजनैतिक क्रांतिकारियों की क्रांति ने देश की पहचान पर भी सवाल उठाने शुरू कर दिए हैं. इन सबके बीच एक सामान्य नागरिक देश की राजनैतिक जमात को इन लोगों के साथ खड़ा पाता है, लेकिन उसकी भावनाओं की परवाह किसी को नहीं है. 

फिलहाल देश में एक वर्ग यह सिद्ध करने में लगा हुआ है कि देश के अंदर अघोषित इमरजेंसी है. अगर यह सच है तो इस इमरजेंसी को लगाने वालों पर लानत है. ये क्या इमरजेंसी हुई जिसके नीचे किसी की इतनी हिम्मत हो जाती है कि तिरंगा यात्रा रोक ले? भारत माता की जय के नारे पर रोक लगाने की बात कर दे. सहिष्णुता की भी एक सीमा होती है. आवश्यकता से अधिक कुछ भी वांछनीय नहीं है, सहिष्णुता भी.

प्रॉक्टर साहब से बस इतना कहना है कि भावनाओं के बारे में इतनी चिंता मत कीजिये. लोगों की भावनाएं तो समोसे के साथ चटनी न मिलने पर भी भड़क जाती हैं. इसका मतलब यह तो नहीं कि अब हर मिठाई की दुकान पर आप खड़े हो कर चटनी का हिसाब करने लगे. आप प्रॉक्टर हैं, हलवाई नहीं. देश कानून से पहले चलता, भावनाओं से बाद बशर्ते वे भावनाएं भी देशभक्ति की हों.
