आठ पहरिया चैनल के एंकर भयंकर, अखबारों के स्थापित स्तंभकार व मूर्धन्य ट्विटकार पूरे साल के घटनाक्रम को हमारे सामने ‘गागर में सागर’ टैप परोसकर कैलेंडर से बेहतर यह बता रहे हैं कि नया साल दस्तक दे रहा है. कुछ तो ऐसे बता रहे हैं, गोया ये न याद दिलाते तो पुराना साल जाना भूल जाता और नया साल आना. अब जबकि यह लगभग तय हो चुका है कि नया साल आएगा ही तो मैं थोड़ा और आगे बढ़कर आपको नये साल का रेजॉल्यूशन लेने के लिए ‘प्रोवोक’ करना चाहता हूँ.

‘आशा पर आकाश टिका है’ ही सबसे बड़ा जीवन दर्शन है. किन्तु हमारे आशावाद की इंतिहा नये साल को लेकर ही होती है. लगता है कि 31 दिसंबर की आधी रात को सब कुछ स्मूथ हो जाएगा. कर्जा पट जाएगा, खर्चा घट जाएगा; कड़की हट जाएगी, रईसी सट जाएगी इत्यादि. नये साल की बधाईयों से लेकर मनाए जाने वाले जश्न और लिए जाने वाले रेजॉल्यूशन कुछ इसी स्पिरिट की आशा लिए होते हैं. ऐसा करने या सोचने के पीछे शायद हमारा उद्देश्य होता है – यथार्थ को फतांसी में ढ़केलकर अच्छा फील लेने का. वैसे ‘केतनो करब सिंगार, पियवा त रहीहें उहे’ थोड़ी देर भूलकर रुमानी होने में कोई नुकसान भी तो नहीं.

तो आइए, नये साल का रेजॉल्यूशन लें. नये साल का रेजॉल्यूशन पहले ही सप्ताह में हाँफने लगता है, इससे डीमोटिवेट होना फिजूल है. आदमी जन्म लेता है और फिर मर जाता है, इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि आदमी जन्म ही न ले. नियम बनते हैं, टूट या बदल जाते हैं. इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि नियम बने ही नहीं. नेता आँखों की पुतली होते हैं, फिर आँख की किरकिरी हो जाते हैं. इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि नेता ही न हों. समझा करिए, जीवन चक्र के लिए जन्म जरुरी है, समाज चलाने के लिए नियम और लोकतांत्रिक तेला-बेला के लिए नेता. मिलिए मोटिवेट करने वाले एक करेक्टर से. नये साल पर दारु से तौबा करने का रेजॉल्यूशन लेने वाले एक मित्र दस जनवरी को ही दा पी करते दिख गये तो बिना किसी अपराध भाव के बोले; “रेजॉल्यूशन पर कायम हूँ. वो थोड़ा छोड़ने की खुशी में कभी कभी …”

पत्रकार सनसनी और मनी को सच्ची पत्रकारिता के हनी से पटखनी देने का रेजॉल्यूशन ले सकते हैं, ट्विटकार भक्ति और भड़ास से आगे बढ़ने का. माननीय गण जुमलों के जाल में लोगों को हलाल नहीं करने का रेजॉल्यूशन लें. ‘सब मिले हुए हैं जी’ फेम सबमे मिल जाने पर जश्न करने का संकल्प लें, मोबाइल की चलती फिरती फैक्ट्री वाले सज्जन अन्य क्षेत्रों के निर्माण में भी कूदने का प्रण करें. मन की बात सुनाने वाले मन की बात सुनने के मोड में आने का निश्चय करें. सरकारी बाबू चाय पानी छोड़कर समाज में सानी बनने की प्रतिज्ञा करें. हाकिम लोग हवा हवाई फरमान को अपने कमान से बाहर फेंकने का निश्चय करें. पुलिस वाले वर्दी को पाक रखने की कसम खाएं. पेशेवर लोग कमीशन मोड से मिशन मोड में आने का निश्चय करें.

मैं जानता हूँ कि उपर बताए गए सारे रेजॉल्यूशन जीवन से अधिक क्षणभंगूर हैं. फिर भी मैं इनकी वकालत कर रहा हूँ. मन में मद्धिम सी आस है कि कहीं चमत्कार वश या भूल से ये रेजॉल्यूशन सच में ले लिए गए तो देश का कायाकल्प हो जाएगा. रेजॉल्यूशन लेकर उसके टूटने से डरने वालों को ढ़ीठ बनने का उपाय उपर बता दिया गया है. और अगर आप कहकर निभाने वाली लुप्तप्राय प्रजाति से आते हैं तो मेरे जैसा चंट बनिए. मैं हर साल रेजॉल्यूशन लेता हूँ क्योंकि ऐसा करना राष्ट्र के विकास के लिए जरुरी मानता हूँ. मेरे रेजॉल्यूशन की खासियत यह है कि यह टूट ही नहीं सकता. हर साल की भाँति इस साल भी मेरा रेजॉल्यूशन है – कोई रेजॉल्यूशन नहीं लेने का रेजॉल्यूशन.
