“जै बाबा री” का उद्घोष अभी रामदेवरा जाने वाले प्रत्येक रास्ते पर पुरज़ोर गूँजता सुनाई दे जाएगा. कभी परमाणु परीक्षण से सुर्ख़ियो में आए देश के पश्चिमी भाग में स्थित पोखरन से मात्र 12 किलोमीटर दूर है रामदेवरा. यहाँ 573 वर्ष पूर्व मात्र 33 वर्ष की अल्पायु में बाबा राम देव जी ने जीवित समाधि ली थी.
राजा अजमल के पुत्र बाबा रामदेव ने अपने छोटे से जीवन काल में समाज में फैले ऊँच-नीच, भेदभाव व छुआ-छूत को मिटाने में अहम योगदान दिया और अपनी प्रजा के हर कष्ट को मिटाया. इसलिए आज भी जन मानस में उनके प्रति गहरी आस्था है, विशेष कर समाज के निम्न तबके में. लोग उन्हें विष्णु का अवतार मानते है. हर वर्ष यहाँ लाखों लोग अपनी अर्ज़ी लेकर बाबा के दरबार में जाते है, बाबा किसी को मायूस नहीं करते.
यह ऐसा समय होता है जब अधिकतर लोग बारिश के कारण और किसान निनाण (फ़सल में उग आयी घास को हटाना) कर के फ़्री होते है. फ़सल पककर तैयार होने में समय होता है तो जत्थों में निकल पड़ते है बाबा से मिलने … पैदल भी … जी हाँ 600 – 700 किलोमीटर दूर तक से … कई बार अकेले ही … यक़ीन नहीं होता लेकिन यहाँ यह आम बात है.
आज ही रामदेवरा से लौटा हूँ. जाते समय रास्ते में सबसे पहले एक बुज़ुर्ग से मुलाक़ात हुई. उम्र रही होगी 70 के पार, हाथ में ध्वज लिए अकेले ही पैदल चले जा रहे थे. पूछा कहाँ से आए हो तो बोले मन्दसौर, मध्य प्रदेश से. ऐसी हज़ारों कहानियाँ बाबा के दरबार की ओर जाते रास्ते में मिल जाएंगी. उनके साथ हुई बातचीत का वीडियो देखिए …
पैरों से ख़ून रिस रहा था, छालें पड गए पर हौंसले नहीं डिगे. बस जूनून है बाबा से मिलने का, 18 दिन से लगातार पैदल चल के आ रहे है, अभी 5 दिन और चलना है. इन्होंने बताया कि ये पिछले 9 सालों से लगातार आ रहे है. ऐसी यात्राओं के लिए शारीरिक क्षमता और आर्थिक संसाधन महत्वपूर्ण नहीं रह जाता, आस्था इनमे रहने वाली हर कमी पूरी कर देती है.
कुछ दूर आगे चलने पर ४००० लोगों का एक पैदल संघ मिला. तीन दिन पहले जोधपुर से ये पैदल रवाना हुए थे. तेज़ धूप निकल आयी तो इन्होंने अपना पड़ाव यहाँ डाल दिया. लोग पेड़ों की छांव में इधर उधर सुस्ता रहे थे, उत्साही युवक गा बजा कर लोगों का मनोरंजन करने के साथ साथ अपनी प्रतिभा भी दिखा रहे थे. जहाँ इनका पड़ाव था मानो पूरा का पूरा गाँव बसा हो.
रास्ते में हज़ारों लोग मिले होंगे जो नाचते गाते बाबा से मिलने की हसरत लिए चले जा रहे थे. कहते है बाबा के दरबार से कोई ख़ाली हाथ नहीं आता. इस पैदल यात्रा की एक विशेष बात यह भी है कि जहाँ लाखों लोग बाबा के दर्शन को जाते है, वहीं दूसरी ओर रास्ते में आने वाले गाँव, क़स्बा ओर शहरों के लोग इनकी सेवा और आवभगत करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ते. आप ये देख के दंग रह जाएँगे कि पूरा का पूरा जोधपुर शहर मेज़बान की भूमिका निभाने के लिए अपनी श्रद्धानुसार जातरुओं के लिए खान पान का समान ले घरों से निकल पड़ते है.
