‘काशी में निकला एक और मंदिर! भव्यता का प्रतीक चिन्ह!’ चाय की चुस्की के साथ यह हेडलाइन दिखी. ट्विटर खोला तो #HeritageLost नाम से एक ट्रेंड चल रहा था. इस थ्रेड के ट्वीट्स कह रहे थे कि मोदी सरकार में मंदिरों को तोड़कर विकास के नाम पर काशी की धरोहर खत्म की जा रही है. विनायक मंदिर, भारत माता मंदिर इत्यादि कई मंदिरों को तोड़ा जा रहा है. समझ नहीं आ रहा था कि यह सच है या झूठ. साथ में लगी तस्वीरें भी कुछ बयान कर रही थी. अनिर्णय जनित धर्म संकट की स्थिति थी.
नज़र दौड़ाई तो उन अभी पोस्ट्स में एक पैटर्न नज़र आया. एक खास राजनैतिक पार्टी के समर्थकों का ‘पैटर्न’. जिज्ञासा में इंटरनेट खंगालना आरम्भ किया. कई न्यूज़ पोर्टल देखे, और भी कई जगह ढूंढा कि 4.5 साल में मंदिरों के लिए क्या किया गया और काशी में क्या हुआ. पौराणिक काल में सागर मंथन से तो अमृत निकल आया था. यहाँ हम बस ‘इंटरनेट मंथन’ कर रहे थे. अमृत ना सही, सत्य निकल आया. आज सत्य भी किसी अमृत से कम नहीं. लेकिन अमृत से पहले विष निकलता है. वही विष जो सुबह सुबह सोशल मीडिया पर देखा था. बाबा विश्वनाथ की नगरी में जैसा विष घोला जा रहा है, उसका आभास शायद ही आपको हो. कहते हैं न कि हर चमकती चीज़ सोना नहीं होती. ठीक वैसे ही हर भगवाधारी सनातन संस्कृति का रक्षक हो, यह भी आवश्यक नहीं. ऐसे ही कुछ लोगों के दिखावटी दुख ने काशी समेत पूरे देश को भ्रमित किया है और लगातार कर रहा है. यह बहुत ही चिन्ताजनक स्थिति है जिसे समझना आवश्यक है.
सोशल मीडिया की और कुछ भगवाधारियों की मानें तो मोदी सरकार में मंदिर तोड़े जा रहे हैं. सोशल मीडिया के युग में अफवाहें चलती नहीं बल्कि दौड़ती हैं. उसको पकड़ने में समय लगता है. हमें भी लगा लेकिन अंततः हमने पकड़ ही लिया. ज़रा सोचिए, काशी से ही चुना हुआ प्रतिनिधि वहाँ की आत्मा को नष्ट कर रहा है? वह भी तब जब उसका चित्रण ‘हिंदू हृदय सम्राट’ जैसी विभूतियों से किया गया हो. इसके मद्देनजर हम गुरु गुगल की शरण गये. निकले निष्कर्ष को यदि एक वाक्य में कहें तो हमारे देश में हमारे कुछ अंग्रेज़ीदां बंधु एक समानांतर दुनिया में जी रहे हैं, बोले तो ‘पैरेलल यूनिवर्स’.
आपने सुना ही होगा कि काशी में रोज़ एक मंदिर निकल रहा है. अखबारों में भी पढ़ा होगा कि मकान के अंदर से निकला भव्य मंदिर. मंदिर निकला? वो भी मकान के अंदर से? यह कैसे संभव है भला? मंदिर तो बनता है. काशी में तो हजारों मंदिर पहले से ही हैं. एक भी ज़मीन से फूटकर तो निकला नहीं. तो अब कैसे निकल रहे हैं? राजनैतिक परितोषकों पर पल रहे कुछ भगवाधारियों का कहना है कि मोदी सरकार ने काशी की धरोहर मिटाने की कसम खा ली है. इन भद्रजनों को शायद यह आभास नहीं हो पा रहा कि असल मे उनकी धरोहर को बचाया जा रहा है. काशी में ऐसे कई निर्माण हुए हैं जहाँ मानवीय स्वार्थ की नींव मंदिरों के अस्तित्व पर पड़ी है.
कई मंदिरों को मकान के अंदर ले लिया गया है. कुछ के चारो ओर निर्माण कर दिया गया है जिससे मंदिर छुप गए हैं. बहुत से मंदिरों के गुम्बदों को धीरे-धीरे नष्ट किया जा रहा है ताकि मानवीय स्वार्थ उसको लील जाए. उनके गुम्बदों को कमरों में तब्दील किया जा रहा है. एक जगह तो दूध का कारोबार हो रहा था जहां की फर्श को ऊंचा कर मंदिर को ज़मीन में लगभग गाड़ ही दिया गया था. कई मंदिरों को घेर कर उसके ऊपर भवन निर्माण कर लिए गए हैं. यह आज से नहीं, बल्कि दशकों से हो रहा था. कुछ मंदिर तो बस उस एक नज़र का इंतज़ार भर कर रहे हैं जो उनकी दयनीय दशा को देखे, मगर वहाँ लोग ‘मोदी सरकार निठल्ली बैठी है’ बोलकर सभी कर्तव्यों से मुक्ति पा जाते हैं. यह पूरा दृश्य काशी के अंदर का ही है.
कालिख, काई और समय की मार में कहीं खो चुके ये मंदिर अब ‘निकल’ कैसे रहे हैं, यह आपने कभी सोचा. यह उसी मोदी के कारण हो रहा है जिन्हे आज शब्दबाणों से छलनी किया जा रहा है. जब इन धरोहरों के अस्तित्व पर खतरा मंडरा रहा था तब काशीवासी चुप थे, आज भड़ासी बने ये भगवाधारी भद्रजन भी चुप थे लेकिन आज प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को काशी की विरासत का शत्रु कह रहे हैं. तर्क यह दिया गया कि यवनों और आक्रमणकारियों से बचाने के लिए मंदिरों को घेर दिया गया. यह तर्क किसके गले उतरता है? आज उन्हीं भवनों ने तो मंदिरों के अस्तित्व पर प्रश्नचिन्ह लगा दिए हैं. मोदी ने बस उन्हीं प्रश्नचिन्हों को हटाना शुरू किया है. यह काशी की धरोहर के पुनरूत्थान है.
इन सभी कार्यों में मंदिरों को बाहर निकालने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है. इसी पुनरुत्थान के लिए खुदाई चल रही है. इन भवनों के अंदर से मंदिर निकल रहे है. ध्यान रहे कि इन भवनों के अलावा किसी भी मंदिर को छुआ भी नहीं गया. यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि इन भवनों को हटाने में मंदिरों के अस्तित्व पर कोई खतरा न आये. कई भवनों में दबे हुए मंदिर निकाले जा चुके हैं. उनकी मूर्तियों को भी निकाला जा चुका है जिनकी तस्वीरों को लेकर सोशल मीडिया पर ‘मोदी सरकार ने शुरू की काशी के अस्तित्व के खिलाफ लड़ाई’ जैसे वीडियो पोस्ट और #HeritageLost जैसे ट्रेंड्स चलाये जा रहे हैं, तस्वीरें साझा की जा रही हैं. दुर्भाग्यवश,कान के कच्चे आँख के भी सूरदास ही निकले हैं. यकीन नहीं आता तो इन टवीट्स को देखिये.
यह दशकों से दबे हुए इतिहास के पन्नों से निकाल कर सामने रखे जा रहे हैं. यह कार्य जैसे जैसे आगे बढ़ रहा है, कंक्रीट, कालिख और काई के नीचे दबी हुई हमारी सनातन संस्कृति के धरोहरों के साक्ष्य सामने निकल कर आ रहे हैं. यह हमारे गौरवशाली अतीत के पदचिन्ह ही नहीं अपितु इस भगीरथ कार्य को करने वाले व्यक्ति का दृढ़ संकल्प भी प्रदर्शित करता है. इसमें समझने वाली बात यह है कि अब तक किसी ने इसके ऊपर ध्यान क्यों नहीं दिया था? सोशल मीडिया से ले कर काशी की गलियों तक, हर जगह जिस प्रकार का दुष्प्रचार निहित स्वार्थ में किया गया, वह निंदनीय है. भगवाधारी भद्रजनों की बात ना ही करें तो बेहतर. धर्म का जितना बड़ा अहित इन्होंने किया, वो किसी ने नहीं किया. दशाश्वमेघ घाट के पास से ही एक नाला बहता है. वह सीधे जा कर माँ गंगा के उसी जल में प्रवाहित होता था जिसमें डुबकी लगा कर आप अपने पाप धोया करते हैं. आज वो नाला बंद हो चुका है. ना तो पत्रकारिता जगत में, और ना ही हमारे भगवा गमछाधारियों ने इस पर कुछ शब्द बोला, मगर माँ गंगा को राहत महसूस हुई. यही तो वो पावन कार्य है जिसको करने का सुख अविस्मरणीय होता है. विश्वनाथ मंदिर कॉरिडोर योजना इसी का एक उदाहरण है.
यह भी कितना हास्यास्पद है कि जिस धरोहर को बचाया जा रहा है, उसी धरोहर को खत्म करने के आरोप उस व्यक्ति पर लगाये जा रहे हैं जिसने इन्हें बचाने का प्रण लिया है. ऊपर से हमारे प्रचंड हिंदुत्व की धारा में चलने वाले बंधुजन कितनी सरलता से कह देते हैं; “मोदी ने हिंदुओं के लिए किया ही क्या है?”. काशी में फैलाया जा रहा यह झूठ बाबा विश्वनाथ का कोपभाजन होगा. सोशल मीडिया से लेकर बड़े-बड़े चैनलों के स्टूडियो तक इस प्रकार का मकड़जाल वर्षों में बनाया गया है. उनसे जूझते हुए एक व्यक्ति लगातार सनातन संस्कृति की रक्षा के लिए आगे बढ़ता जा रहा है. उसी व्यक्ति को स्वार्थ के हाथों मजबूर कुछ लोगों द्वारा रोकने के प्रयास में कहीं आप भी तो योगदान नहीं दे रहे? काशी के तथाकथित धर्म धुरंधर अफवाहों का बाज़ार चला कर इसी कार्य को और हवा दे रहे हैं. ज़रूर सोचिएगा. इसके साथ ही इससे भी अधिक दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण स्थिति यह है कि शंकराचार्य श्री स्वरूपानंद सरस्वती जी, जिनकी भाजपा और संघ परिवार से घृणा जगज़ाहिर है, उनके शिष्य अवमुक्तेश्वरानन्द गली गली घूम टूटी मूर्तियों संग फोटो खिंचवा यह दिखाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं जैसे यह भाजपा का किया गया कार्य है. शंकराचार्यों का ऐसे राजनीति में पड़ना अत्यंत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है. इस पर आप भी अवश्य ध्यान दीजिए. ज़रूर सोचिएगा. अब सवाल यह है कि सोशल मीडिया पर फैलाये जा रहे इस विष का पान कौन करेगा? सीधी सी बात है. वही करेगा जिसके हाथ में काशीवासियों ने काशी की बागडोर थमाई है. काशीवासियों को भी चाहिए कि वो अपने उसी प्रतिनिधि के साथ खड़े रहे.
